Being kind, checking boobs and some horses of course!

The Cheltenham festival was a blast with a fabulous attendance and so good to see so many mares winning as well.

For many racing fans, Cheltenham is a home away from home. It’s a warm track (not physically of course) but you can’t help but feel the warmth towards each other with everyone having that equal love of the racehorse.

I did a preview night for around 500 people with Sir Anthony Mccoy and Barry Geraghty which was a really fun evening and again lovely to see and speak to so many avid racing fans, in collaboration with William Hill and Cheltenham racecourse

It’s also been a mixed few weeks for a few personal reasons:

  •            My son Teddy was diagnosed with asthma which was upsetting to a point but a relief to finally get a solution to an ongoing problem. I have younger siblings who had infant asthma and they grew out of it, so of course my hope is that’s what’ll happen for Teddy.
  •        I also recently found a lump in my breast which I had to have scanned and then biopsied due to the nature of it - it’s been a worrying time! Thankfully the results came back and the lump is benign. The doctors / health service were very swift and it was a huge relief to get a good result. It feels like there is a lot more pressure on ourselves to be well when we have little ones to care for doesn’t it… so please - CHECK YOURSELVES GIRLIES! xxx
  •            I’ve also recently begun working with a new PR agency, Riviera PR, who were highly recommended by a friend - and they’ve been fantastic. They’re incredibly proactive and communicative and are already helping to build and strengthen relationships with both existing and new brands across a variety of opportunities. There’s a lot happening behind the scenes at the moment. It’s been great to continue collaborating with HiHo Silver and Equine Products, as well as to start an exciting new partnership with Knockando Wool Mill in Scotland. I also have several new projects in the pipeline for the coming months, so watch this space team!

Lastly for this blog:

  • Don’t forget to be kind and considerate online - People are very quick to go at each other when mistakes are made in public and not so quick to apologise when they are mistaken.
  • We are all only human and we all make mistakes.
  • Sometimes we learn from them sometimes not so much!

Not long until the Grand National now and we get to do it all again – plus the flat season is back along with, hopefully, plenty of sunshine (is it here to stay this time?!)

Good luck sports fans and go steady

Lots of love LM xx
